Main activity guidelines of the association:

• to express oneself and defend interest of its members, represent them in state institution and non-governmental organizations;
• to develop the activities of agriculture and other companies;
• to enhance the qualification of farm managers and specialist;
• to seek for partners and resources in order to implement investment projects, new technique, to apply technologies;
• to develop perspective programs cultivating and selling agriculture production to Lithuanian and foreign partners;
• to develop relations to Parliament committees, Government of the Republic of Lithuania, ministries, departments, various agriculture and remake industry company organizations, also foreign companies and their representatives;
• to inform agriculturalist and country people about reqiurements placed by European Union and living in conditions of EU mebership;
• represent Lithuanian agriculture companies and their association in their country and abroad, organise cooperation with adequate Lithuanian and foreign organisations.

The mainly activity purpose of the assocation is to andeavor for making normal economical, legal, financial and social environment to the agriculturalist, and beneficial market economy conditions to the agriculture companies.

Participation in the activities of the company — that is wider possibilities:
• to adjust aims and actions of a large group of legal and natural persons;
• to present interests of agriculturalist more effectively;
• to perform more of the jobs by the members themselves, saving finances;
• to influence relevant legal acts enacted by state institutions.
